EXTERIOR BUILDING COMMUNICATIONS ENCLOSURE

The Exterior Building Communications Enclosure (EXT1) provides an interface between mobile military communications platforms and building voice/data networks. This vehicle-to-building interface improves communications efficiency by allowing real-time communications to feed into a building’s office, conference room, VTC room, or operations center from a tactical communications platform parked outside the building. The EXT1 accepts cables through four (4) slots at the bottom of the enclosure. An interior, non-locking, hinged access door covers the cable connections and provides an aesthetic appearance when the exterior door is open. The exterior door closes securely with cam, control rods, and an exterior-rated handle and provides environmental protection to the cable interface. Door handle is designed to accept a Sargent & Greenleaf® padlock.

16-gauge electro-galvanized steel. Powder Coat Finish: Dark Gray Textured. Four (4) cable pass-through slots. Connector mounting plate shown is for TFOCA-II® Flange Mount Receptacle. May be ordered to meet other customer specifications (Product Code: EXT1-MP-xx sold separately). Interior, non-locking or locking, hinged access door covers cable connections. Secure 3-point door closure. Exterior rated door handle accepts Sargent & Greenleaf® padlock (Page 20).
